Ride through Whitehouse

For the first time in a while, the sun was out in full force. However, the temperature was still in the 40s. I wanted to ride but didn't feel like freezing my face off again. So I went to our local Honda dealer and bought a full-faced modular helmet.

I left the dealership and rode through the town of Whitehouse. Every year, Whitehouse hosts a Cherry Festival and has a parade and car show (pictured above). Whitehouse is also the home of Black Swamp Choppers. From there, I rode threw Waterville and Monclova.

Essentially, I was just riding around with no particular destination in mind. It was definitely therapeutic, and my face didn't get frozen off.

Once the lows are in the mid to upper 30s, I'm going to start riding everyday that it's not raining or snowing; but since we're expecting 6 more inches of snow this weekend, I'll probably have to wait a while longer.
