Ride to Marblehead & Catawba Island

P1130736.jpg

This trip had been in the works for several weeks, and it almost fell through. Ten people were slated to go, but half backed out just one hour before we were supposed to put the kickstands up.

Thankfully, Brian was still game to go. Brian, Susan, & I rode over to Port Clinton and to the Marblehead Lighthouse. It was pretty windy, but the view was great.

We rode past the Arnold Ferry terminal at the North end of Catawba Island before meeting Matt & Sarah at the Mon Ami Winery for dinner.

The ride home was a lot smoother since we were going with the wind. What a difference that makes.
