Schedel Gardens

After finishing my NATCA day, Susan and I rode to Elmore, Ohio, to visit the Schedel Arboretum and Gardens.

The ride there was a bit interesting. Google Maps let us down. We ended up just outside of Fremont before we decided to turn around.

After riding through some of NW Ohio's farmland, we arrived at the gardens.

It is a huge garden with different themes throughout. The Japanese garden was my favorite. Susan liked a sculpture called "The Cloak".

We left the gardens and rode through Elmore, Genoa, and Millbury. Thunderstorms were blowing in from the Northwest, so we had to hurry to stay out of the showers.

There was no way that we were going to make it home without getting soaked, so we stopped at P.F. Changs for dinner and ate on the patio while the storms blew over.
