In an effort to start riding season on the right foot, Darrell and I attended a Blessing of the Bikes on April 1st. The Toledo Axemen M/C (all brothers from IAFF) sponsored the event at the Royal Bar in Northwood. After the blessing and lunch, we rode through downtown Toledo on the way back home. [...]

On my way back from the Sugar Shack, I found this covered bridge. The Lockport Covered Bridge was built in 1999 at a cost of $1.7 million and, aside from the concrete piers, concrete abutments, and steel tension wires, is constructed completely of wood.
