In what is becoming a yearly family tradition, Susan & I rode down to Whitehouse, Ohio, to the Cherry Fest.
My favorite part of the festival is the Whitehouse Firemens' chicken. They cook what looks like thousands of them on a big open pit. The chicken alone is worth the trip.
Every year, they have a parade. This year LifeFlight was a sponsor and marshalled the parade in style.

The "Ride for Alexandra's Heart" was this past weekend, and it was an unbelievable success.
First of all, I would like to thank everyone that helped in the planning of the event. I would also like to thank all of the companies and individuals that donated silent auction items and food and drinks. It would not have happened without all of your help.
Secondly, I would like to thank all of the motorcycle clubs, organizations, and individual riders that rode in the run. The Christian Motorcyclists Association, Star Touring & Riding, and the Toledo Sportbike Riders arrived with the most riders.
Last, but by no means least, I would like to thank the owners, managers, and employees of our stops. The folks at Tony Packo's, Pub51, and Skeeter's were first rate and very accommodating.
Now for the important statistics...
We had about 75 bikes with close to 90 registrations. The total net proceeds that will be donated to Alex's Children's Organ Transplant Association account is nearly $2500!
Thanks again to all who were involved!
