If you’re like me, after hours of riding the backroads and highways, you find yourself with a bit of an appetite.
Generally, I keep some of the cheese and crackers with the little red stick (you know the ones that I’m talking about) and candy bars in my saddlebags for just such an occasion.
Lately, I’ve been looking for a healthier alternative.
Currently, they have four varieties (Wildberry, Chocolate Raspberry, Chocolate Peanut Butter, and Coconut) available in stores and online. Of the varieties that I tried, the Coconut was my favorite.
Their marketing information says that the bars are powered by their proprietary blend of ingredients that is dubbed “Z-52“.
From the Good Greens website: “Good Greens products are powered by the incredible Z-52 formula. Z-52 has been created from 52 different superfoods to provide over 40 antioxidants, 3 different types of probiotics, and 100% of your daily fruits and vegetables.”
The bottom line for me is that they taste great and are wholesome and filling.
One word of warning before you throw them into your saddlebags and ride off on warm day. Toss them in a cooler or keep them shielded from heat because they will melt. They will still taste delicious, but you may end up working a little harder to get them out of the wrapper.
