Last week, I took my first motorcycle trip of the season. I had to do some training in St. Louis, so I decided to take the bike.
The weather was a challenge because of low temperatures. Mid 40 and low 50′s for 9 1/2 hours made for lots of shivering and stops for cups of hot coffee.
Once there, the weather warmed up making for an enjoyable week.
After classes were over, I was able to explore the downtown with the other attendees in my class. We had dinners at Hannegan’s, Morgan Street Brewery, Schlafly’s Tap Room, The Brewhouse, and Flannery’s before ending the week on a high note at Ruth’s Chris Steak House.
The hotel was just a block away from the Gateway Arch, so I took a couple of minutes and rode up to the observation deck before checking out the Museum of Westward Expansion and walking around the park grounds.
